The road to the final
From young bird intake to the 480/500 km final race — this is how a season at the test station under the Tatras unfolds.

Young bird intake
15 Mar – 20 May 2026, age 40 – 45 days. Entry fee 100 € per pigeon, capacity 1 700 pigeons.

Training flights
7 – 9 training flights from 10 to 100 km prepare the young birds for the race plan.

Races
Races ranging from 130 to 350 km. The winning trio of every race takes a prize.
04
Final race
480/500 km. The winner takes 12 000 € and a cup — prizes are awarded down to 100th place.
